We usually go to pubs not too far from Bailgate and we are happy to re-visit those that we have enjoyed. Favourites would include the Peacock, the Lincolnshire Poacher and (our farthest journey) the Wagon and Horses at Branston. We like to have a “Sunday roast”, and the best value so far is probably The Lincolnshire Poacher. But they all have their different characters, and are good at different times. Wherever we decide, we enjoy the company, and find that it’s a great way to spend a traditional Sunday!
